Although I have, for the most part, given up my gamer urges, I do occasionally indulge from time to time... today while reading a gaming blog I stumbled across an interesting article on certain games' tendency to promote an almost satirically excessive concept of masculinity. It postulates that these games are...

... the kind of stupid that feeds a real human need. After all, man does not live on Proust alone.

Though I think the best games do manage to strike a balance...
