Capital Studios, Inc., Home Of less than three productions and the Venture Capitalist MCs, Announces Reversal of Former "Anti-myspace" Policy

Minneapolis, Minnesota

September 17, 2006

"I guess it was about time," said "VCMC", Capital Studios' chief enginner and founding member of Venture Capitalist MC's. "I wanted to be able to use the word "friend" as a verb and obsessively update my profile on a website owned by Fox Media, just like all the cool kids," he continued. "That, and...I guess I wanted to [redacted] with peoples' heads by having an elaborately constructed fake persona/organization be the basis for my entire online presence. I think it's more mysterious that way."

less than three productions offers proven chart-topping production/beatmaking services to artists with tons of money to give us for that kind of shit.

The Venture Capitalist MCs are the first and only rap collective to solely feature members who are actually the multiple personae of the founding member. Aside from the fact that they don't actually have any rhymes and have never played a show, a prominent underground hip-hop site recently featured them as "the group to watch the majors fight over in 2007".

summary: rawk!

More later. (Or not, depending on how lazy I am.)

Unrelated: I think I want to cover the new justin timberlake song in the noise rock/dirty club-electro genre, a la Boris/Lightning Bolt or Justice/Vitalic. Not sure which side of that spectrum i'm leaning toward yet, or if this will actually happen given my propensity for coming up with ideas for projects, committing to doing them, then stalling at some point before completion... (wilco remaster, anyone?)

timb-awesome
As disappointed as I was by 'sexy back', Timberlake and Timbaland have gone and redeemed themselves. Behold, "My Love". Fucking genius. Study at the altar of the Timb-əs. Well, on second thought, pay much closer attention to the production - that's where this shit really shines. If you doubt the slightest thing about those synth triplets, leave my blog. Now. Don't come back. Ever. Bitch!
